Julie Crowley

On September 19, 1998, Julie Crowley died at her home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Her quadruplets were born on August 3 by cesarean section at the hospital in Mountain Home, and had been home only two weeks before her death. Mrs. Crowley was alone with her five children (in addition to the quads, she had a 3-year-old daughter) at the time of her death. She had complained of fatigue, but she was not under medical care after her discharge from the hospital. She died in bathroom of fatty liver disease of pregnancy. Her story was featured in the August, 2001 issue of Good Housekeeping. She was 28 years old.
