Jennifer Eigenmann

Jennifer Eigenmann died from postpartum eclampsia. She had delivered healthy twin girls by cesarean section on October 15, 2006. About ten days later, she began experiencing severe headaches and was still swollen. She attributed these symptoms to breastfeeding, fatigue, and possible dehydration, but when they didn't go away she sought medical attention. Things escalated in the days that followed until she eventually suffered multiple strokes and died on November 10th, four days after her own thirty-seventh birthday.
