Jamie Sue Retterer

Jamie Sue Retterer was 33 years old when she went into a hospital in labor with her first child. Her labor was induced, but early reports were that an emergency cesarean followed, and a fatal complication: amniotic fluid embolism. She died on October 28, 2008, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her baby, Eliana Marie, survives.
