Elizabeth Davis

Elizabeth Davis was 37 when she died a day after giving birth vaginally at a Danville, Virginia hospital in September, 2000. She had a heart attack after a massive blood loss. Her husband, Tim, told a reporter that he regrets that no autopsy was done, as the cause for the heavy bleeding remains unknown. Two older children were born to Elizabeth without this complication. Elizabeth had been a YMCA fitness instructor.
